Environmental Policy
Our environmental policy and ecological beliefs are founded on simple logic. We run low emissions vehicles wherever possible and try not too travel to far for work. Wherever possible we will recycle scrap wood to go to wood burners, hardcore to go to farm gates, metals etc to recycling centres. We strictly control the way we dispose of plastics and other difficult materials by using fully licensed operators equipped to deal with waste.
We use email to communicate as much as possible and avoid unnecessary wasted paper.
We practically encourage environmentally sound designs by ensuring insulations are of the correct standards ( or above ) and sourced ethically. Wherever possible we encourage alternate green heating sources including solar, air heat recovery, ground source heat pumps etc. There is always a practical element to being green i.e an ecologically sound product is not so sound if it has travelled half way across the world. We also recognise that ecological products tend to cost more and as such do not suit all budgets. If the ecological alternative does not match the budget then a cheaper alternative is still better then none at all !
